Vintage Weekend

Step back in time to the 1930s and 40s on April 21st– 22nd at the John Fowler Holiday Park. The Beehive Vintage Salon will be offering hair and make-up styling to match the era, complete with tea and cake. Once coiffed to the nines, you can browse a fantastic range of vintage stalls selling enough clothes, jewellery and memorabilia to satisfy the most serious shopaholic.

The entertainment during the weekend, is second to none. On Saturday, be blown away by the powerful vocal talents of Radio 2 regular Louise Parker, who interprets swing, blues and gospel classics with style and passion. There's also Swing dance duo Duncan and Louise, who teach at events throughout the UK – they will be performing on stage and also giving a talk on the history of Swing.

On Sunday, enjoy a 1940s fashion catwalk showcasing the most popular styles of the era, and music from the multi-talented Sandy Sparkle, an award-winning vintage vocalist and 1940s re-enactor who will be performing throughout the day.
