Discover, Connect, and Be Inspired by We Are the Ocean
Join us to celebrate We Are The Ocean in Princesshay Square on Tuesday 25th June, 16:00 – 18:00.
We Are The Ocean weaves together the fears, hopes and dreams of 400 children from the UK and United Arab Emirates who connected across the ocean through science, stories, art, to take action for our ocean. Their messages were delivered to world leaders at COP28 Climate Change Conference in Dubai in December 2023.
On Tuesday 25th June all are invited to see, hear and learn more about We Are The Ocean. The event will include:
• Live music performances by British Institute for Modern Music artists
• Children's poetry performances in English and Arabic
• The opportunity to co-create a new Ocean Poem for Exeter
• The award winning Sounds of the Ocean film
• Creative activities including origami & pom pom making
Light refreshments will be provided and all are welcome.
