William Shakespeare's Henry V.
A play set in and around the events of the Battle of Agincourt, Henry V is one of Shakespeare's historical plays. It explores the events through the eyes of regular soldiers as well as both the English and French kings and their courts. Combining drama with plenty of humour and a wonderful array of personalities; this production of Henry V features local actors and a modern setting- imagine 50 years in the future after planetary and environmental changes. This production, with the same cast, but performed online, was performed and broadcast in August 2021 as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The performances are taking place at Brixham Theatre, a beautiful traditional theatre in the town of Brixham, South Devon. The theatre has full covid-safety measures in place.
