There is so much to see and do at Powderham Castle you will be pushed to fit it all in to one day, but don’t worry as you can come back within 7 days for FREE*
Entertaining guided tours inside the Castle take you through secret doors and even across a haunted landing! Outside there are acres to explore and discoveries to be made. Children can earn themselves a Powderham medal on our nature trail, get stuck in to arts and crafts in the Nature Nook and even plant a seed to take home in our Potting Shed. There is always a treasure trail to follow and a prize for completing it!
Visit the Walled Garden Play Area & Pets Corner, home to our friendly pets and adventure play castle, get close to the deer on a deer park safari (available daily in the school holidays) or simply take time to relax and enjoy the stunning views.
We have lots of events throughout the season and our famous themed weeks in the school holidays – where children can meet our very own Capt Jack Sparrow and even the Mad Hatter! *
