From the historic Blackmore Gardens main stage to intimate performances across the town, the festival is celebrated as “Where the Sound Meets the Sea,” offering unforgettable live music by the stunning Devon coast.

2026 Headline Acts

The festival has revealed an extraordinary line-up of internationally acclaimed artists who will headline across the four nights:

  • Friday 22 May – Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra with special guests Roachford, Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall, and Sumudu Jayatilaka.

  • Saturday 23 May – Emeli Sandé, the multi-award-winning British soul singer, known worldwide for hits such as Read All About It and Next to Me.

  • Sunday 24 May – Macy Gray, the Grammy Award-winning American R&B and soul icon, famous for her timeless track I Try.

  • Monday 25 May – Incognito, pioneers of British acid jazz and funk, will close the festival with classics including Always There and Don’t You Worry ’Bout a Thing.

Daytime Performances and Free Music

From Saturday 23 to Monday 25 May, festivalgoers can enjoy an eclectic programme of daytime concerts at Blackmore Gardens. Expect an exciting mix of jazz, swing, blues, soul, gospel, funk, roots, and Latin music from leading UK and international artists.

Alongside the main stage, Peacock Lawn will host the free “Love Local Stage”, a vibrant celebration of emerging and established regional talent. Visitors can also savour street food from global vendors while enjoying the free live performances.

The festival atmosphere spreads across Sidmouth with fringe events, workshops, pop-up street music, and live sessions at local venues – creating a town-wide celebration of rhythm and culture.
