Sorry, this event has passed

We're excited to be teaming up with Flotsam the Fool's Circus Workshops to host a fun and active two hour workshop for children and parents to enjoy!

Circus skills are great fun for all ages to have a go at and learn, Flotsam the Fool's love contemporary circus and teach workshops with a modern edge, all of their instructors have a good knowledge of the history of their skills as well as many years of experience in teaching circus skills. This workshop will be most suitable for children aged 7 years and up.

What the workshop will include:

* During the first hour juggling (with balls, clubs, rings and scarves), plate spinning, diabolo and poi will be taught through a series of fun activities and games - all children can take part in each activity at the same time.
* Then there will be a little break (squash and snacks will be provided for kids), followed by some free play with the other props. This will include a chance for children to practice the skills they've already learned as well as new skills such as hula hooping, stilt walking, pedal-go, flower sticks, ribbon twirling, cigar boxes, spinning staff, and even a free-standing slack line for the adventurous to try!
* We can finish up with a chance for the children to demonstrate their new skills to the rest of the group if they wish to.

We will also have a small seating area set up in the hall for the parents and carers who choose to stay, where there will be tea, coffee and cakes on offer for you to enjoy while you watch your little ones if you wish.

Tickets are £5 per child and available from either;
