To reach the garden; if you are arriving from Totnes or Newton Abbot via the A381, take Edgelands Lane directly off the A381 signposted to Ipplepen Business Park & Animals in Distress Centre.At the Bilver Junction take the road signposted to Ambrook I mile, continue along this road.When you get to a V in the road and a private lane (Great Ambrook Avenue) leads off to the right bear right onto this lane at East Lodge-you will approach the Italian Garden via Ambrook Lodge at the east end of this private lane. Please drive slowly along the half-mile private track as it is only wide enough for one car and there is only one passing place;• If travelling from the west or north you can also follow your GPS to enter via the west gate, past Great Ambrook House. The garden entrance, immediately to your right as you exit past the stone gate pillars of Great Ambrook House.
