The Cowes Classic 2018 Offshore Powerboat Race is set to take place on Sunday, August 26th this year.
The 200-mile classic has long been recognised as one of powerboating's toughest challenges, and comparisons have been made with motorsport events such as Le Mans and the Indy 500.
Around 16 boats are expected to be in the line-up, if the conditions are calm like 2015 and 2017, the leader could make Torquay in under one and half hours.
Expect boats to arrive in Torbay anytime after 10:30 am, and the return rolling start will be at around 14:00 pm.
