Yealm estuary – Life in the mouth!

Join the South Devon National Landscape Estuaries Officer, a marine biologist, to delve into the intertidal world along the shore towards the mouth of the Yealm Estuary

Guided by the group's interests and questions, we'll take a closer look at life in and on the estuary mud, shore and rocks.

The walk will involve walking though shallow mud and uneven, rocky shore.

Bring wellies or sturdy shoes that can get wet and snacks and drinks as necessary.

Local facilities include toilets and pubs.
