Join our Rangers for a fun activity session for the whole family to learn all about the fascinating and mysterious nightjars that live in Haldon Forest Park!
The nightjar is a ground-nesting bird that flies more than 3,000 miles from Africa to Devon to breed each summer. They are one of the most important and scarce wildlife species that lives in the forest.
Come along to have a go at matching the nightjar's incredible camouflage skills and discover how your senses and hunting skills match up to those of a nightjar!

Hour-long sessions will run throughout the day, starting at 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, and 2:30pm. Head over to Eventbrite to choose your session and book your child's place.
