We know that mums and dads are amazing all year round, and with such great restaurants, pubs and Cafés, amazing attractions and events in South Devon it’s easy to show them how much you care and what they mean to you every day of the year.
But there are two specials days every year where we all get to treat our mums or show our dads how thankfully we are.
Mothers Day
Mothers day in Devon is always great fun, spring is in full swing, the fields are full of new life and many of the wonderful South Devon businesses are putting on amazing events to help you celebrate that cherished person.
So no matter who you’re celebrating this year; mothers, grannies, step-mums, close friends or aunties, if you’re looking for a meal out, fun activity or memorable day we’re sure you’ll find it in South Devon.
Mothers day, or Mothering Sunday, takes place in late March or early April and is always held on the fourth Sunday after Lent. It’s exactly three weeks before Easter and is a great time to not only celebrate your loved ones, but enjoy spring time in South Devon.
Fathers Day
As the summer months approach and the days are nice and long, it’s time to start looking forward to Fathers Day and planning how you can show your dad how much you care.
Throughout South Devon all the great businesses, attractions and restaurants are getting ready to help you celebrate by holding special days or cooking one off menus. So gather your dad’s, granddads, step-fathers, uncles and close friends together and show them how thankful you are with a special day trip.
In the UK Fathers Day always falls on the third Sunday of June and is a day of honouring dads and their impact on society.
