Radio and TV legend David "Fitz" Fitzgerald to visit retirees in Ottery St Mary

The UK's leading developer and manager of retirement communities, McCarthy and Stone is inviting Ottery St Mary retirees to join them, and well-known television and radio presenter, David "Fitz" Fitzgerald, for the official opening of Tumbling Weir Court Retirement Living development on Tumbling Weir Way on Thursday 6th February.

From 11am until 1pm, members of the public are welcome to visit Tumbling Weir Court and enjoy the company of Fitz, the radio and TV legend who first began broadcasting on commercial radio in the 1980s, before moving to television and working at TSW, Anglia Television and Sky News. Fitz is now the voice of his own radio show on BBC Radio Devon, presenting 'Fighting Fitz' each morning.

Guests who attend the event will be treated to a buffet lunch in the communal lounge, and at 11:30am there will be an entertaining talk from the VIP guest himself about his successful career.
