Award-winning family theatre makers PaddleBoat Theatre Company present an open-air theatrical adventure: 'Rustle'.
PaddleBoat Theatre Company are setting up camp in the great outdoors to tell the greatest campfire story ever told: where sleeping bags become monsters, rucksacks become friends, torches illuminate the forest's darkest secrets.
Imagine that you're far from home, playing in the woods all on your own
And all is still and calm and clear - But what's that rustle you can hear?
Is it the wind blowing through the trees? Is it the sound of falling leaves?
Or is the rustle that you hear the sound of something drawing near…
Join us for an interactive family show full of stories, puppetry, music and mime, and help us survive in the outside world as the sound of rustling gets closer and closer.

'This company understands how to perform children's theatre in a way that isn't dumbed-down or diluted. The performances are vibrant, rich, detailed and challenging – they expect the children to 'get it' and they do. The benefit is that we as adults can enjoy the show just as much' – Audience Member

After delighting families across the South-West with their previous shows 'According to Arthur…' and 'Margo & Mr. Whatsit', imaginative theatremakers PaddleBoat Theatre Company are headed to Teignmouth with their very first outdoor show. 'Rustle' follows the story of four adventurous children on an expedition into the forest as they try to survive alone in the great outdoors.

PaddleBoat are renowned for their creative storytelling and playful audience interaction, and 'Rustle' promises to be no different. As with all their shows, it was created with the help of local primary school children over the Spring Term, fulfilling PaddleBoat's ethos to create theatre 'with children, for families'.
The performance will go ahead come rain or shine – with an exception for thunder – so make sure you bring blankets and picnics and join PaddleBoat around the campfire.
