Internationally acclaimed Salcombe Gin continues its series of Gin & Gastronomy dining experiences in 2019, celebrating the versatility of its collection of award-winning gins with an event taking place at Salcombe Harbour Hotel on Friday 1st March.

Commenting on the Gin & Gastronomy series, Salcombe Gin co-founder, Angus Lugsdin says: "We're delighted to collaborate with Salcombe Harbour Hotel; it's the perfect fine dining venue for our exclusive Gin & Gastronomy experience. Jamie has created a remarkable menu taking inspiration from our flagship 'Start Point' gin. We're excited to share some exciting new cocktails with the diners which will complement the delicious flavours of each course, with a few surprises along the way!"

Salcombe Harbour Hotel was featured among Sunday Times Travel's Ultimate 100 British Hotels.
On 1st March at 7.30pm Salcombe Harbour Hotel, which enjoys the most prestigious of locations in this beautiful coastal town will host the following Gin & Gastronomy evening at their desirable destination restaurant.

Salcombe Gin is the inspiration behind chef Jamie Gulliford's menu and will prove itself the perfect partner to seafood from the Salcombe Estuary, as well as other local fare.

Jamie Gulliford comments: "Gin is a relatively new player in high-end cuisine, but chefs are already beginning to see what a useful and versatile ingredient it can be. What I love about it is that even a few drops can add flavour and impact, both to sweet and savoury dishes. As gin is such a complex blend of citrus, spices and botanicals, it adds sophistication - you could almost say a touch of mystery - to everything it touches.
Salcombe Gin is produced in South Devon by Salcombe Distilling Co.
