Opening Times

Sorry, this event has passed

Shaldon Festival Choir will be giving an informal performance of Rossini: Petite Messe Solennelle, that well-loved work which, contrary to what is suggested by its title, is neither short nor solemn.

The choir will be conducted by Stephen Threlfall, Director of Music at Chetham's School, Manchester; with his energetic manner, pleasant sense of humour and extensive musical knowledge, we can guarantee this will be a thoroughly enjoyable informal concert. The choir will be joined by four outstanding soloists: Héloïse West (Soprano) Rebecca Smith (Contralto) Matthew Wilding (Tenor) and James Quilligan (Bass) with expert accompaniment from Peter Adcock on piano and Paul Morgan on organ.
