Step Out for Stroke is coming to Paignton for the first time, so come and join the thousands of people across the UK who are walking to make a difference for everyone affected by stroke.

Step Out for Stroke is a fun, one mile sponsored walk for people of all ages and abilities, including stroke survivors and their friends and families. You can walk at your own pace and in your own time, and whether you walk a few steps or the full mile, you're doing something wonderful to help us conquer stroke.

The short, flat route circles around Youngs Park in Goodrington, looking out over the beautiful coastline and beach huts of Paignton. Within the park, there's a lovely boating lake and children's play area, as well as refreshments at the café and public toilets. With music and face painting, this is an event for the whole family!

It costs just £6 to enter, including an official t-shirt, fundraising pack and finisher's medal. Registration opens at 1pm, and the walk will begin at 2pm.

Every step makes a difference, and the money you raise will help provide much needed support to stroke survivors and their loved ones.
