Our course has been designed to build practical hands-on confidence with honeybees. We'll cover all you need to know as a beginner beekeeper and learn to read the bees by going through the hives together. We will keep active for most of the day and regularly stop for a cuppa to discuss what we've seen in the bees. It will be a busy day so its best to bring a packed lunch with you.
You will get your own beginners beekeeping book to keep, which covers all the content and more for you to consolidate your learning. All equipment is provided but please bring welly boots.
Before the course starts please email me with your contact number and next of kin details and let me know of any medical conditions that may be relevant such as allergies
I am very happy to chat through any questions you may have before the course, as it's very important to me that you have the best experience whilst on my course.
This is run as a small group activity
