The Mercy, starring Colin Firth and Rachel Weisz was filmed in Teignmouth, South Devon in June 2015 and will be released on the 9th February 2018.
The Pavilions Teignmouth will be screening The Mercy from the 9th February through to the 22nd February. There will be two screening a day. Booking is advised, full details on tickets can be found on the Pavilions Teignmouth website.
Filmed party in Teignmouth during 2015 the film directed by James Marsh tells the fascinating story of doomed yachtsman Donald Crowhurst, an amateur sailor, who in 1969 set sail from Teignmouth in his trimaran the Teignmouth Electron as part of the Golden Globe race.
