Tom McConville, CELT

A welcome return for both Tom McConville and CELT (support). Tom was born in Tyneside and he is one of the finest fiddle players in Britain and a grand singer and raconteur. As well as his solo work he has played with Barbara Dickson, Richard Thompson, Allan Taylor, Lindisfarne, Keiran Halpin, Dabhand, and he has shared the stage with Stephan Grappelli, Sean Maguire, Paul Brady, The Chieftains. Tom has a BBC 2 Radio Folk Award. "One of the greatest violinists I've ever heard and by far the biggest influence in my music" (Seth Lakeman). A world class act!
The support band for this concert are CELT, a high energy but also sensitive Celtic Music band whose members have roots in Skye, Dublin and Swansea and their whistle player is also a fantastic Irish dancer. They are rapidly gaining an enviable reputation and a large following.
