Event information
Please note that storytelling and appearance times may be subject to change. We expect appearances to be very popular, and there will be a queue. If the queue is long when you arrive, we recommend enjoying some of the other activities on offer and coming to the next appearance.
Copies of Gruffalo Granny by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler will be available to buy at the event too. Can't wait? Get your copy today!
Meet-and-greets with The Gruffalo are on a first-come, first-served basis and may get busy, so arrive early to avoid missing out. We expect the day to be busy, so please be patient and be prepared to come back later if The Gruffalo is busy.

Storytime with Gruffalo Granny will take place outdoors so we recommend sturdy footwear and dressing for the weather.

The terrain is a mixture of forest track and grass. The event area is largely level but may be muddy in wet weather. There are several benches available around the event area.

There are no toilets in the event area. Visitor toilets are located in the visitor hub opposite the cafe, about 400m from the event area.

There is free drinking water near the visitor toilets.

Please keep dogs on leads in the event area.
