Conkers Lodge in Devon (Finlake Resort & Spa)

The lodge is located within Haulfryn’s Finlake Resort & Spa, set across 130 acres of beautiful Devonshire countryside. It is right on the doorstep of Dartmoor National Park and only a short drive away from the seaside (English Riviera). The on-site leisure complex offers a heated indoor and outdoor pool with water flumes, an adventure playground, a luxury spa, and a fitness centre. Various on-site group activities for all ages are available for booking at the resort, and so are the tennis and basketball courts. The two on-site coarse fishing lakes are full of bream, roach, dace, large crucian carp and perch. The on-site café and the Retreat (Sports Bar & Restaurant) serve lovely breakfasts, lunches and dinners. In the evenings you can also enjoy a game of pool or occasional guest singers.

Lodge Description:

The outside porch leads into the modern and brightly decorated lounge/kitchen/dining room fitted with vinyl flooring throughout. Double glass doors lead to an extensive decking equipped with a wooden patio table and four chairs. It’s a perfect place to enjoy morning tea in the sun.

The wonderful hot tub is the ultimate relaxation spot to be enjoyed by our guests. It is conveniently located on the lodge decking and shielded by a privacy screen.

The modern and beautifully furnished lounge area is warm and cosy with an electric fireplace, a coffee table and a couple of sofas with scattered cushions. There is a 42-inch Smart TV with Netflix ready and free wireless broadband.

he newly fitted kitchen is fully equipped to a high standard with an integrated dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, large oven, stainless steel cooker extractor, four-burner gas hob, a fridge freezer, a slow cooker and an air fryer. The dining area provides a modern wooden table and four wood faux leather chairs situated by a glazed window, which lets in a lot of light, giving that excellent spacious feel.

The luxurious master bedroom features a double bed (with a memory foam topper), bedside units and a wardrobe. Off the main bedroom, you find an ensuite. It is fitted to a high standard and includes a shower cubicle and a thermostatic shower mixer.

The second and third bedrooms feature two superbly comfortable single beds,  bedside units and TVs. Fresh bed linen is supplied for your stay, allowing you to have the most relaxing sleep during your time away.

The main bathroom has a shower, a vanity mirror, a toilet, a washbasin, and a chrome towel rail. Fresh luxury hand and bath towels are provided for all guests upon arrival.
