South Devon is full of many great attractions offering great days out for all the family. With many of the attractions opening again after the Christmas break now is a great time to visit. Becky Falls Woodland Park

Opening for the 2016 season on Saturday 13th February, all their shows and activities will be in full swing for the school half term break. Set within a spectacular ancient valley, the Falls have been attracting visitors for over 100 years and offers a fantastic, value-packed day out for all age groups to enjoy the very best that Dartmoor has to offer.


Hannahs at Seale-Hayne

Open all year Hannahs at Seale-Hayne offers stunning grounds and historical buildings providing a great day out for all the family including a licensed cafe / bistro, contemporary art gallery, artist's workshops, famous Indian Runner Ducks as well as donkeys, pigs, ponies, chickens, goats and alpacas and beautiful grounds to enjoy with spectacular views.

Devon's Crealy Great Adventure Park

Devon's Crealy Great Adventure Park is the South West’s number one family value day out. There are over 200 animals, 75,000 square feet of undercover play and extensive outdoor adventure areas for guests to explore.

Dartmouth Steam Railway and River Boat Company

The Dartmouth Steam Railway & River Boat Company are unique in offering combined steam railway, river and sea adventures for days out in Devon. Dartmouth Steam Railway steam trains travel seven miles along the most spectacular South Devon coast down into the Dart Valley, a designated area of outstanding beauty. Steam Trains will be running again from the 13th February.

Woodlands Family Theme Park

Woodlands Family Theme Park offers a fun filled day out for the whole family. From little kids to kid-ults there’s something for everyone in this 90acre park. Woodlands is open during Devon School Holidays from 9.30am to 5.00pm.

Pennywell Farm

Opening on the 13th February you can enjoy bottle feeding the lambs and goat kids and enjoy cuddles with all the early spring babies, pamper the ponies and enjoy the four FREE farm rides and meet hundreds of friendly animals. One full price day admission ticket gives you a VIP wristband valid for the rest of half term so you can visit as many times as you like!

South Devon Railway

From the 13th to the 21st February the South Devon railway will be holding a Winter Steam Festival, see British Railways branch line trains of the 1950s and 1960s. Steam auto-trains, passenger, mixed and goods trains and diesel railcar and visiting GWR locos 0-6-0PT No 4612 from the Bodmin & Wenford Railway and former Buckfastleigh resident, 0-4-2T No 1450. Trago Mills

Trago Mills family discount shopping and leisure park in Devon offers over 110 acres to explore - both inside and out, including 38 shopping departments and the Trago’s Family Fun Park includes their famous steam railway, an amazing model railway plus a choice of other affordable family activities.
