We begin from the picturesque fishing village of Stoke Gabriel, where we set off with the incoming tide. Leaving civilization behind , we join with the peaceful expanse of the Dart Estuary, with its thick wooded banks, and sparkling water. LUNCH is at SHARPHAM vineyard cafe where you can find great food or if you prefer, bring a picnic. After our lunch stop we'll continue up river until we arrive at Totnes where the trip finsihes around 4pm.
This is a prefect trip for novice canoeists, adults and children alike. The scenery and wildlife is spectacular and you'll return freash and enlivened by a day on the river.
