Devon artists are open for business and putting safety first

At the Cricket Pavilion, Hearn Field, Combeinteignhead between Saturday 12th & Sunday 27th September a ceramicist, silversmith, blacksmith, a wildlife artist, a printmaker and a multi-media artist will be waiting to welcome visitors as part of Devon Open Studios.

As well as wearing visors, creating a one way system and providing hand sanitiser the Edge of the Teign artists are also able to arrange a pre-bookable time for visitors who are shielding or need additional support, to come and view their diverse range of work separately from the general public.

Angela Bennet, Charlotte Bouchard, James Deane, Annie Drew, Niamh Geraghty-Morris and Susan Hill will be opening the doors of the Pavilion each Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm to talk about their work, discuss and share ideas and techniques and can be watched working on their latest pieces. The Open Studios event is also a perfect opportunity to purchase original works of art and unique craft direct from the makers; supporting individual and local business.

Whether you are an artist looking for inspiration, a local looking for a unique gift or a holidaymaker looking for something to take home to remind you of your break in Devon come and have a chat and browse - everyone welcome.

When visiting the artists at Hearn Field, visitors will also discover stunning views of the river Teign, a dog friendly field for any canine company, free parking and the perfect spot for a picnic. So why not pack up your flask and picnic rug and visit The Edge of the Teign.
