Roary the Velociraptor made their nest at Dartmoor Zoo but their eggs were all blown away in a storm!
Pick up your trail sheet at our main gate and help Roary find all ten of their eggs around the Zoo, get inspired with close encounters of a prehistoric kind and spot some Jurassic sights along the way.
Don't forget our exclusive Dino Workshops too!
Visit us on the 12th or 13th of February and dive in to an exciting immersive Dinosaur workshop running throughout the day! Meet palaeontologist characters, train a T-Rex, meet a baby velociraptor, dig for fossils, create fossil rubbings and hunt for hidden treasure!
Our enthusiastic education team are also offering a show and tell fossil station and dinosaur themed engagements throughout the week.
All activities will be hosted in our newly refurbished, all-weather suited 'Jaguar Suite'. Places are limited so secure your spaces whilst you can! Tickets to be booked online as an add-on when purchasing admission tickets to the Zoo.
Please note that you will need to purchase a general admission ticket as well as a Dinosaur workshop tickets to gain access to the Zoo.
