Join forager and wild foodie Hannah for a day of foraging, fermenting and feasting in the beautiful setting of our horse rescue sanctuary. Enjoy a guided wild greens walk, then a hands-on fermentation workshop where you'll discover the nutritional and culinary benefits of fermenting. You'll make and take home your own jar of wild greens kimchi plus an additional seasonal ferment, with tasters and a wild-foraged lunch included.
The Mare and Foal Sanctuary is a charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and providing lifelong, loving homes for horses and ponies in need. Many arrive having suffered neglect, abuse or abandonment, and the sanctuary's expert team gives them specialist care, training and a secure future. The sanctuary also uses equine-assisted therapeutic programmes to support people's wellbeing, helping both horses and humans to thrive. Money raised by this event goes directly towards the sanctuary's vital work, funding feed, veterinary care, rehabilitation and ongoing support for the horses and ponies who depend on it.
65.00 All activities, tasters, lunch and wild ferments included.
