Opening Times

Sorry, this event has passed

The best little festival in the Westcountry, 'LauFest' will be held on the weekend of 2nd - 4th August in Wembury on the outskirts of Plymouth.

The inaugural LauFest was held in 2017 and we organised it in just 6 weeks following the passing of our dear friend Laura Plane. Laura lived with breast cancer for 8 years and what started out as her wake soon escalated into a wonderful life-affirming celebration of her life with bands, music, food and all the things Laura loved.

It was especially poignant because in a swansong to his late wife, Jon Plane had started an online campaign to get the Foo Fighters to dedicate the song 'Everlong' to Laura when they headlined Glastonbury. AND THEY DID IT https://www.facebook.com/bbc5live/videos/10155522382381108/?pnref=story

Throughout Laura's life she raised £70k for the breast cancer charity CoppaFeel!, and we are proud to say that we raised £8k at the first LauFest which was absolutely incredible and a real legacy to our girl.

Because of this, we decided that LauFest should become an annual event and so the 3rd LauFest will be held at the start of August.
