The museum is easily accessible from Exeter, Plymouth, Totnes and Torbay.
From Plymouth: Take the A38, then the A383 into Newton Abbot. Follow signs to the Town Centre. Newton's Place is located at the junction of the A382 and A381.
From Totnes: Take the A381 into Newton Abbot. Newton's Place will be on your right as you approach the centre.
From Torbay: From the A380, take the A381 at Penn Inn roundabout. Follow signs into town. Newton's Place is on your left.
From Exeter: Follow the M5 to the A380. Take the Newton Abbot exit and follow the A381 into town. Newton's Place is on your left.

By bus
The main bus station is on Sherborne Road, about five minutes from the museum. Cross through the market area to reach Courtenay Street, turn right, then follow the walking directions above. Local bus timetables can be found via Stagecoach and Country Bus websites.
By train
The railway station is around 15 minutes' walk from the museum. Exit the station, turn right onto Queen Street and walk for around 10 minutes. Turn left into Courtenay Street and continue to Wolborough Street.
