The Pig & Whistle

The Pig & Whistle is a traditional Devon pub with log burners and a cosy feel which is centrally located a short drive from Totnes, Newton Abbot and Torbay.

Accommodation with external access. Very well positioned to visit the South Hams, Torbay, Dartmoor. (Sorry no wheelchair access to rooms. Rooms are on the first Floor).

Food freshly prepared in their own kitchens, using local produce from land to sea including; Dartmouth fresh fish, meat from local award winning butchers, local vegetables, Exmouth mussels, Brixham crab & Berry Pomeroy game from the local shoot – seasonally.  A fabulous reputation for great food, its best to book!  Famous for Sunday Lunch which is served all day and into the evening - or until sold out!

The bar is open all day from 11am for drinks and coffee (Sundays 12 noon) with a full menu & specials available lunch & dinner, 7 days a week (except sunday lunch). Dog Friendly tables, but its important to book as they are popular!  There’s free WIFI and in the summer months outside seating on the secluded patio area.  Large car park.

At The Pig & Whistle you’ll find a wide selection of drinks including Dartmoor’s Jail Ale, Teignworthy & Hunter’s Breweries as well as a guest. Delightful wines and a great Gin List too.
