If you’re visiting South Devon during February Half Term this year then you will not be disappointed! Throughout the region there are plenty of fantastic events happening to keep the kiddies entertained come rain or shine; from natured themed events to help your little ones learn about wildlife and the environment to exciting exhibitions and workshops, you’re sure to find something fun to do during your stay. Bumper Half Term (10th - 17th Feb)

Enjoy a Bumper Trail around the Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life this half term. Special craft activities on the 13th and 14th of February, normal museum admission fees apply; adults £5, all accompanied children go free. More details available here.

February Half Term at Pennywell Farm (10th - 18th Feb)

You can have up to 9 days of fun at Pennywell Farm in Buckfastleigh for the price of 1 with their free half term return. That’s lots of extra snuggles with the miniature pigs! More information can be found here.

Best Friends Forever Trail (10th – 18th Feb)

A family fun trail to take part in at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth. Free entry and parking at the sanctuary, £3 per trail sheet. To learn more, please click here.

February Half Term Fun at World of Country Life (10th – 18th Feb)

With goat walking, a birds of prey flying display, ferret racing and loads more, there’s plenty going on at World of Country Life in Exmouth this half term to keep the kiddies entertained! See their website for prices. More details available here.

Superhero and Princess Half Term (10th – 18th Feb)

Head to Woodlands with little ones over 92cms dressed up as a Superhero or Princess and get a free child’s return ticket. Live entertainment 13th to the 15th of February and all tickets only £7.50 per person. Further information can be found here.

Spring Flower Trail (10th – 25th Feb)

Spot the flowers blooming on the Spring Flower Trail at the National Trust estate of Killerton, in Broadclyst, near Exeter. Free event but normal admission fees to Killerton apply. To find out more, please click here.

Super Sunday at Exeter Racecourse (11th Feb)

Fantastic fun for all the family at Exeter Racecourse, two pre-booked Grandstand and Paddock tickets only £15 and children 17 and under go racing for free. More information available here.

Bird Watching for Children (12th Feb)

Join an experienced volunteer guide at Seaton Wetlands and learn all about the birds. Spotting sheets and binoculars to borrow are provided, £2 per child. Find out more by clicking here.

Pop Up Fab Lab Workshops (13th Feb)

Taking place at Newton Abbot Library, children aged between 8 and 12 can design and print their very own 3D keyring. Tickets cost £7.50, more details available here.

Nest Box Building (13th Feb)

Get hands on and make bird nest boxes with the countryside rangers at the Reed Base at Seaton Wetlands, £10 per kit. For more information, click here.

Woodland Wonder: Family Day in the Deer Park (14th Feb)

Taking place at The Deer Park, Dartington Hall Estate near Totnes, join in with treasure hunts, campfire songs and more! £3 for children 4+, ages 3 and under and accompanying adults go free. Further details can be found here.

Family Watercolour Workshop (14th Feb)

Suitable for those aged 11 and upwards, join exhibiting artist David Norman at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery in Honiton as he teaches how to prepare and paint a watercolour landscape using a photograph of your choosing. £2 per child, £5 per adult, booking is essential. Bird Feeding Fun (14th Feb)

Pop along to Younghayes Centre in Cranbrook near Exeter to make bird feeders, £3 per child. To discover more about this event, please click here.

Dartmoor Legends Animated (16th Feb)

Family activity where you can create characters and scenery related to legends of Dartmoor to be used in stop-start photography for animations to be published on YouTube. Taking place at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter, £8 per person per day. Further information can be found here.

Chinese New Year Trail around RAMM (17th Feb – 16th Mar)

The Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter hosts a Chinese New Year themed trail to celebrate, a great way to engage the kiddies whilst they learn. Free entry. For more details please click here.
