Dawlish Warren evolved from a Victorian health resort to a World War II coastal defence site and, in 1978, a National Nature Reserve. Its history, marked by scenic beauty, wartime fortifications and rich wildlife, blends seamlessly with modern attractions, offering visitors a unique mix of heritage and natural charm.
In Dawlish, enjoy a picnic on the picturesque Lawn or Manor Park, where you can relax by the Brook and feed the ducks.
