The Ceramic Studio

We have the largest range of pottery in the South West! The choice is yours from a magical fairy to a fierce robot, tableware to plant pots or even a bowl for your dog! Don't worry if you are only here for the day, as we can post your item to you.

If you fancy trying something new, maybe pot throwing is for you. Create your own masterpiece from scratch on our state-of-the-art potting wheels. Never tried it before? Don't worry, we offer one to one and group lessons. A great activity to do with friends or family! If you would prefer to visit in the evening, we run a Pottery Class on the last Wednesday of every month.

Prices start from just £1.00 with a studio charge of £3.40, then vary depending on the size of the ceramic!

If you want to take your item unglazed, you can choose to Paint and Go! Prices start from £3.00 with a studio charge of £2.50 for this service.

Our café, Wild Thyme Deli & Kitchen

We create vibrant, seasonal dishes using only the best, fresh and local ingredients.

Working towards reducing our food miles and taking pride in every cup of freshly ground, artisan coffee we make. Nearly everything is homemade, and our team of chefs refresh the menu seasonally, bringing you the latest must-try dishes, along with weekly specials. Indulge in the tempting creations from our in-house pastry chef at our deli counter.

We do not take bookings. As a busy venue, we operate on a walk-in only basis. This way, we ensure that everyone gets the chance to walk up and enjoy the Wild Thyme experience, no booking required, without being turned away.

The Daily Knead

The Daily Knead is the product of a deep love for food and the search for the perfect almond croissant. This bakery is not just about great bakes, it’s a celebration of locally sourced ingredients, traditional methods, and sustainable practices.

Every loaf, croissant, and pastry is crafted fresh daily by skilled bakers using only the finest ingredients. While many ingredients are sourced from local Devon suppliers, like bakery staples from Forest Produce in Exeter and artisan coffee from The Coffee Company in Newton Abbot, some key items, like their regenerative flour from Wild Farmed in the Cotswolds, are selected for their quality and innovation.
