Join us for a vibrant evening of flavour, culture, and celebration as African Night arrives at The Old Pottery Restaurant. This special dining experience invites you to explore the bold and colourful traditions of Africa, brought to life by our talented chefs in a lively evening setting.
Inspired by the diverse cuisines found across the African continent, this one-night event will showcase the rich heritage of African cooking, where fragrant spices, slow-cooking techniques, and fresh ingredients come together to create dishes full of character.
Our chefs have crafted a menu that highlights the authentic flavours, textures and aromas of African food.
Set within the welcoming surroundings of The Old Pottery kilns, the evening promises a relaxed yet atmospheric dining experience – perfect for those who enjoy discovering new cuisines and memorable themed dining events.

By Car
To reach House of Marbles from the A38 at Drumbridges roundabout, whether you're coming from Exeter or Plymouth, take the exit for the A382 towards Bovey Tracey. Follow the signs to Bovey Tracey, and House of Marbles will be on your left as you approach the town.
The drive from the roundabout should take around 5 minutes. Be sure to look out for the brown tourist signs with our name on them.
FREE parking is available at House of Marbles. If you can not find a space in front of the building, you will find additional parking to the rear of the building.

By Bus
Directions to House of Marbles via bus. From Newton Abbot Bus Station, take bus number 39 and disembark at Pottery Road, Bovey Tracey. Please refer to the latest Stagecoach timetable for the most up-to-date information.
This bus runs from Newton Abbot to Heathfield – Bovey Tracey – Chudleigh Knighton – Chudleigh – Exeter Bus Station.
