Join us for an afternoon tea as part of the Taste East Devon Festival this September.
Learn about the important work we do worldwide before taking afternoon tea with a bray at The Donkey Sanctuary, Sidmouth. Set with a view of the rolling Jurassic coast, watch donkeys roam free over tea, scones and cakes as part of the annual Taste East Devon Food Festival. Our food event will be for one night only so don't miss out on this exclusive opportunity.
Start your afternoon with a gentle stroll around the sanctuary with a member of our international team and hear how donkeys help people around the world.
After you've worked up a healthy appetite, enjoy the last of the summer rays at The Kitchen's afternoon tea as part of the Taste East Devon Festival, sourced where possible from our own land and within our beautiful corner of Devon.
Afternoon tea with a view:
Three tiers of locally sourced Devon delicacies, a selection of sandwiches, sweet treats and cakes, finishing off with freshly baked fruit scones with jam and clotted cream. A vegan and gluten-free selection is available.
Washed down with table-served Clipper tea from Beaminster, Dorset or The Coffee Company coffee from Newton Abbot. A quintessential Devon afternoon.
Tickets:
Tickets cost £25, including the afternoon tea and tour. Pre-booking is required and there are a limited number of tickets available, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
