The Donkey Sanctuary's popular Car Show in Sidmouth, Devon is back for 2019!

One for motor enthusiasts and their families, enjoy a relaxed day of car conversation, live music, delicious street food and sweet treats and children's activities.

2018 saw a record number of cars booked to exhibit and 2019 will be no different; expect a whole mix of motors from vintage and classics to modern and modified.

Those exhibiting their pride and joy will be automatically entered into the light-hearted Show 'n' Shine awards, with various prizes from local sponsors up for grabs across the 12 categories, including 'Organiser's Favourite' and 'Shiniest Car'.

Throughout the day there'll also be live performances from the Official Amy Winehouse Tribute, My Winehouse and local pop/rock band, Static Charge, while children will be kept entertained with fun activities just for them.

Take part in the raffle featuring prizes for some of Devon's top family attractions, dinner for two, a trip to the cinema and a money can't buy prize! There will also be a selection of trade stands offering all-manner of motoring goodies to treat yourself to, as well as delicious local food and sweet treats to satisfy the appetite.

The show field is located just across the road from The Donkey Sanctuary (open 9am - 5pm), which is home to hundreds of friendly donkeys just waiting to meet you before, during or after the Car Show. The Kitchen restaurant will also be open all day from 9am - 5pm for breakfast, lunch and cream teas.

Guide Prices

Exhibitors
£5 (+£0.77 - £1 booking fee) per pre-booked car or £8 per car on the gate (subject to availability if they do not sell out of spaces before the event).

There is a limited amount of spaces available and demand is expected to be high after selling out in 2018, so it is recommended that you pre-book your space as early as possible. Pre-book your exhibitor space today.

Visitor admission
£3.50 per adult, under 12s FREE. (Pre-booking is not required for general admission to the Car Show.)

Dogs are welcome on leads and parking is free.

The sanctuary is situated just 30 minutes from M5 Junction 30 on the A3052 between Sidford and Seaton. On leaving Sidford follow the brown tourist sign at the top of the hill.

Public Transport Directions

Bus stops are located within easy walking distance for the following services: Axe Valley Mini Travel 899, Stagecoach 9A (Exeter - Seaton).

If you are on foot, access to the sanctuary can be found via Weston Mouth on the South West Coast Path whilst cyclists will find us on National Cycle Network route 2.
