Craft Revolution: Weave Your Own Grocery Basket with Hilary Burns – two day course

On this two-day weekend course, you will learn all of the techniques required to make a round grocery basket with the prize-winning Maker Hilary Burns.

Saturday 6th October 9:30 – 5:00pm
Sunday 7th October 10:00 – 4:00pm

This is a 'full on' weaving course, packing a lot in, and is aimed at those with patience and stamina (and a fair amount of agility) who would like to master the craft of willow basket making.
The size and complexity that is achieved will depend on whether you are a complete beginner or have some previous experience of the craft.
You will make a round grocery basket, a basket suitable for shopping and storing or harvesting fruit and vegetables or a small kindling basket.
