FUTURES is returning for 2024. Running since 2018, FUTURES is a FREE festival of discovery, funded by UK Research and Innovation and taking place in the South West across venues in Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth and online this Autumn. The festival is a collaboration between Bath Spa University, University of Bath, University of Bristol, University of Exeter and University of Plymouth.
The festival is a unique opportunity to find out more about the innovative and world-class research taking place at universities across the South West. With something for all ages, FUTURES brings science, culture and research to life in new and exciting ways.
Researchers from across the partner universities will sharing their exciting projects through a programme of over 20 different events, including hands-on experiments, science shows, games, competitions, exhibitions, online events and activities in museums, shopping centres, the streets and at visitor attractions.
Research is all about asking questions, getting creative and testing things out, it's as easy as that. You can be a researcher too! Join in at our events and with our online activities with things to try at home.
