Club together to support the Path for all to enjoy!
The South West Coast Path Association Golf Fundraiser at Thurlestone Golf Club is back! This time on Friday 4th October 2019.

We would love you to join us for a friendly 4BBB Open (pairs) at the stunning Thurlestone Golf Club, right on the Coast Path and help us raise much needed funds to protect the Trail. Female and male golfers of all abilities are warmly welcomed.

Tickets at £39.50pp, or £45 with a donation, include:
18-hole round of golf (normally £80pp for a visitor to Thurlestone)
Competition entry
Tea & coffee on arrival
Two course lunch
Access to clubhouse throughout the day
Luxury prizes for winning teams
Free parking
We expect places to fill up quickly, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Registration closes at 4pm on Wednesday 25th September (due to the cost of administration for the charity, refunds can only be offered in exceptional cases, so please check your diary carefully before booking!).

What's different this year:
Coastal golfing break to the Lizard Peninsula confirmed as top prize!
Hot drink on arrival now included in the price
Dessert now included in the price
We will be playing from yellow tees this year!
Handicaps up to 36 (women), 28 (men) now welcomed
Mulligans are now available for a donation
After a year off, the raffle is back!
Why support the Coast Path?
The South West Coast Path Association is the charity working to protect and champion the South West Coast Path, so that we can all benefit from the coastal landscape. At 630 miles, the Coast Path is England's longest National Trail, and it gives access to some amazing natural spaces: over 70% of the Path is in either a National Park or designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Over 9 million people every year use the Trail to enhance their mental and physical well-being, but many don't realise the hard work that goes into keeping the coastline accessible. Most don't know that there are teams of rangers, volunteers, and outreach staff, to name a few, working invisibly in the background so we can all enjoy this amazing natural asset. When you consider that climate change is causing increasingly extreme weather to batter the coast; the erosion caused by the growing number of feet on the Path and the finite lifespan of essential infrastructure like bridges and way-markers, you can see why it costs £1000 per mile per year, just to keep the 630-mile trail open. By participating in our golf day, you are directly supporting our work to care for our local Trail.
