Tea in the Paddock

Celebrating the launch of the sanctuary's new attractions, enjoy a great British tea party down among the donkeys.

This will be a fun-packed day for the whole family and little ones are in for a treat with a FREE ice cream for every child!

Offering an exclusive insight into the work of The Donkey Sanctuary and caring for their wonderful residents, visitors can enjoy some fascinating talks and demonstrations including:
- All things donkey talk
- Donkey facilitated learning talk and enrichment demonstration
- Working worldwide
- How and why vets perform a welfare assessment
- Meet Laurel and Hardy
- Donkey grooming demonstration

Devour delicious Devon cream tea's among new friends in the event marquee, where fun-loving funk/soul/jazz singer, Adam in the hat and his Jazz Trio will entertain with crowd-pleasing tunes. Children's entertainers will also be on-hand to keep little ones amused, including the sanctuary's own resident mascot, Lucky the Donkey plus there will be thrilling trailer rides throughout the day.

For the insider's guide to the sanctuary, join a tour around the working farm where expert guides will impart their knowledge and give you a better understanding of the sanctuary and the friendly residents living there.

The sanctuary will be open as normal, with hundreds of donkeys to meet and lots more to explore. Delicious, wholesome food will be available throughout the day from their stunning new family-friendly restaurant, The Kitchen, and don't forget to visit the new Gift Shop for donkey-design items to suit every pocket.

Entry and parking is free. Dogs on leads are welcome.
