Exe Estuary

The Exe Estuary is a popular area for walkers and birdwatchers with many wading birds and wildfowl visiting throughout the year. It’s the perfect idyllic location for a long dog walk with plenty of stunning scenery to enjoy. Haldon Forest Park

Beaches

Exmouth Beach

Dogs are allowed on Exmouth Beach main beach during the winter months, between 1 May and 30 September dogs are only allowed at each end of the beach.

Budleigh Salterton Beach

Sections of Budleigh Salterton Beach are dog friendly all year round with restrictions during the summer months on the main beach.

Sandy Bay

Sandy Bay Beach is a privately owned beach; dogs are permitted between November and April.

The Coach House Farm is just seven miles north east of Exeter close to the historical village of Broadclyst. Sleeping up to four people, this cosy holiday cottage provides ground floor accommodation on a working arable and sheep farm. Well behaved dogs are welcomed and the surrounding countryside offers some superb walks. Castle Brake Holiday Park, Exeter

Castle Brake Holiday Park is positioned close to the lively city of Exeter and a short drive from the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In a village named Woodbury, the park has plenty in its vicinity to be explored and is great for your pooch too with woodland walks and a common just nearby. Ladram Bay Holiday Park, Budleigh Salterton

Perched on the dramatic East Devon coastline, just along from Exmouth, Ladram Bay Holiday Park is a fully equipped holiday park with fantastic facilities for you to enjoy during your stay such as a swimming complex complete with a splash zone and slides. Right next to its own private beach, this holiday parks is a hit with all who visit and your furry friend can come too for a charge of £50 per dog per week or £30 for shorter breaks. Crealy Meadows Caravan & Camping Park, Exeter

Crealy Meadows Caravan & Camping Park is located just outside of Exeter and is adjacent to Crealy Adventure Park & Resort. Go wild on the rollercoasters or head to the nearby coast, there’s plenty to do and lots of accommodation types available such as hot tub lodges and glamping tents as well as space for camping and touring trips. Some accommodation does accept pets at an added cost of £3/£4 per night depending on the season but please be aware that dogs are not accepted in Crealy Adventure Park & Resort.
