Dartmoor Brewery is home to a range of brilliant traditional ales, brewed right in the heart of Dartmoor National Park.

The original and famous Jail Ale is the flagship beer, named after the nearby and rather infamous Dartmoor Prison.  This full-bodied beer has a well-rounded flavour and a rich aftertaste, and has achieved top awards at numerous beer festivals. Jail Ale has a well deserved reputation as one of the best premium ales in the country.

Legend is another classic cask-conditioned beer from the Dartmoor Brewery stable - smooth, full-flavoured and balanced, with a crispy malt fruit finish.

For something a little lighter, there’s the excellent Dartmoor IPA, and for something quite unique, try the black treacle infused Dragon’s Breath.

These fine Dartmoor Brewery ales can be found in great pubs throughout Devon, and increasingly further afield. Bottled beers can also be purchased from the Dartmoor Brewery shop in Princetown, or online for home delivery.

Opening Times

* The Dartmoor Brewery shop is open Monday to Friday, 9am until 4pm.
