Terrace Cafe The Devon Guild of Craftsmen

The Terrace café at the Guild is open 7 days a week.

A contemporary space within the converted Riverside Mill at Devon Guild. Café customers can enjoy indoor ambience with warming fire in winter and rooftop seating on the outdoor terrace in summer, with views overlooking Dartmoor, free wi-fi, kids area and menu.

The Terrace is known for well-priced and excellently produced seasonal dishes, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free: all locally sourced where possible. Fair Trade coffees, loose-leaf or herbal teas and organic drinks are offered, along with a range of home-made food made on the premises: hot vegetable soups, cream teas, delicious cakes, also brownies, flapjacks and cookies. Lunch menu with changing specials includes starters, sides (houmous, spiced sweet potato wedges), sharing boards, fragrant mixed salads; mains of smoked salmon and dill tart, halloumi and roasted pepper, homity pie, and quiches.

The Terrace is licensed for drinks and catering so can be specially booked for your evening function, party, breakfast meeting or business lunch. For every exhibition opening there is a special evening meal event with superb dining options (6-8pm). See Guild website for details.
