Lights down. Cameras rolling.
The stage is set for an unforgettable weekend at Bovey Castle, where the sixth season of the Battle of Eden unfolds against Dartmoor National Park's untamed beauty. With its grand staircases, fairytale turrets and sweeping moorland views, this is a setting worthy of the silver screen, a place where every moment feels like a scene in your own film.

This year's theme, A Night at the Movies, invites five Eden Head Chefs to step into the spotlight and craft showstopping courses inspired by iconic films. Over two glittering nights, guests become both the audience and the critics, tasting each creation before casting their votes to decide who will be crowned Battle of Eden Champion 2026.
The evening opens with a sparkling drinks reception, setting the scene for a red-carpet celebration in the grandeur of Bovey Castle. Guests arrive in black tie, inspired by the timeless glamour of Hollywood's golden age, as anticipation builds for the culinary spectacle ahead.

As the curtain rises, guests will take their seats for a showstopping dining experience prepared by our five Eden Head Chefs, with perfectly paired wines accompanying each course. Every dish takes its cue from an iconic film, from the drama of Casablanca and the romance of Breakfast at Tiffany's to the daring adventure of Indiana Jones, the fantasy of The Wizard of Oz and the elegance of The Great Gatsby.

But there is a twist. The chefs' identities remain a mystery until the very end, leaving guests to play detective as each cinematic creation is revealed.

As the night reaches its finale, the audience will cast their votes and crown the Battle of Eden Champion 2026 before the celebration continues with live entertainment, cocktails and dancing, the perfect closing scene to an unforgettable evening.
