We begin from the picturesque town of Totnes, where we set off with the outgoing tide. Leaving civilization behind , we join with the peaceful expanse of the Dart Estuary, with its thick wooded banks, and sparkling water. LUNCH is at DITTISHAM where you can find great food in the pub or cafe, or if you prefer, bring a picnic. After our lunch stop we'll paddle for about an hour or so to Stoke Gabriel where the trip finishes around 4pm. Transport is provided back to your vehicles in Totnes.
This is a prefect trip for novice canoeists, adults and children alike. The scenery and wildlife is spectacular and you'll return freash and enlivened by a day on the river.
