Design, carve and print your very own lino blocks and create a beautifully decorative cover for your gardeners' notebook.
Come and enjoy a creative morning of block printing and immerse yourself in this rewarding printmaking method. Be inspired by the beautiful flora and fauna surrounding Buckland Abbey and create botanical inspired patterns and prints. Grace Coombes from Linnet Workshops will guide you through each step of designing, carving and printing your very own lino block. Participants will get to take home their block printed notebook and hand-cut lino blocks to use in future craft projects.
All materials included and refreshments provided. No previous knowledge or experience necessary. Come along and try something new. All Inks are water-based and non toxic. We suggest bringing an apron to protect your clothes.
The session will begin with a short walk round the gardens for those who would like to gather some inspiration.
