Back by popular demand – Home Educator Day!

We're thrilled to announce a new date, with an amazing theme to match!

Thursday 1st May – Creativity

During this Home Educator Day, we delve into the world of creativity and help to get your creative juices flowing. Whether you enjoy drawing, painting, photography or creative writing, we will help to inspire your creativity and explore the links between this topic and the zoo world.

There are 3, 45 minute workshops available called – Animals around us: get creative!
These are free and can be added to your basket at checkout (spaces are limited so we recommend booking in advance)! They will be held in our Jaguar Suite at 11, 12 (guidance for Primary level) and 1 (guidance for Secondary level).

There is also a one hour, photography tour with our very own Content Creator; Kira, so if you have a phone or your own camera and want to learn how to get some amazing animal photographs – make sure to tag along!

Our Home Educator Days are designed to welcome home educated children and their families to come and explore the zoo for just £15 (one adult and one child – including one day admission) or, if you're an Annual Pass holder, tickets for our Home Educator Day are available for £5 per child (if you'd like to secure this exclusive rate but are not yet an Annual Pass holder, we strongly recommend booking your tickets including Annual Passes in advance)!

With a different theme running each session. The days are designed to offer flexibility and freedom with talks and activities running across the site, or why not book onto one of our educator-led workshops to take an interactive dive into the topic.
