Once in Okehampton town itself, there are two sets of traffic lights; one by the Church, and one slightly further on, by the White Hart Hotel. Turn right at the second set, and at a mini roundabout, you will see the Co-Op and Waitrose supermarkets to your left and right. Go straight on, and follow the road up hill. You will eventually (about 5 mins of twisty road) get to a T junction. Turn left and follow the A386 for about another 5 mins. You will pass a sign to The Grange Riding Stables, and then you turn right where the sign says Peacewater, Maddaford, Southcott. Continue on this little road (Dry Lane) for as far as you can go – about 2 miles – until you reach a little bridge. Cross the bridge and drive up the lane and you have arrived!
