Celebrate the best of the countryside at the Newton Abbot Country Show, taking place at Newton Abbot Racecourse on Saturday 8th August 2026, from 10am until 6pm.
Whether you're looking for a fun-filled family day out, a chance to browse local makers and producers, or simply enjoy a relaxed summer's day, there's something for everyone at this exciting annual event.
Visitors can enjoy an action-packed programme featuring:
Newton Abbot Dog Show, with fun classes including Waggiest Tail, Best Veteran, Best Working Dog and more (entries taken on the day)

Live music throughout the day
Classic Car Display
Indoor and outdoor market & craft stalls
Delicious food and drink from local vendors

The Newton Abbot Dog Show, organised by D4Dogwalking and supported by Happy Paws, is a highlight of the day. Entry is just £2 per class, with proceeds supporting Devon Dog Behaviour Rehab Rehome, making it a fun event that also raises money for a worthwhile local charity.
With over 70 trade, craft and food stalls, live entertainment and activities running throughout the day, the Country Show is the perfect opportunity to shop local, enjoy great food and experience the very best of Devon's community spirit.
Advance adult tickets are £8 (£10 on the day), and children go free. Free parking is available on site.
