Pecorama is opening its gates for a special series of October opening days, offering visitors the chance to enjoy the Beer Heights Light Railway, beautiful gardens and the Model Railway Exhibition at this unique attraction above the picturesque village of Beer in East Devon.
The October opening days will take place on 20th, 21st and 22nd October, followed by 27th, 28th and 29th October 2026. Tickets will go on sale from 1st September.
Visitors can enjoy a ride on the Beer Heights Light Railway, explore Pecorama's beautifully landscaped gardens and take in the stunning views across the East Devon coastline. The Model Railway Exhibition provides an opportunity to discover a variety of layouts and enjoy the world of railway modelling, while the Harburn Hobbies Model Shop offers an extensive range of model railway products, track, rolling stock and accessories.
Pecorama is home to the Beer Heights Light Railway, a 7¼-inch gauge railway which has been delighting visitors for many years. The combination of steam railway, gardens, model railways and spectacular coastal scenery makes Pecorama an enjoyable day out for families, railway enthusiasts and anyone looking for something a little different during the October half-term period.
The site is family friendly and dogs are welcome, subject to the site's conditions. Visitors are encouraged to check the latest information and book their tickets in advance. Pecorama is a cashless site and accepts card, contactless and digital wallet payments.
With its combination of railway heritage, outdoor attractions and family-friendly activities, Pecorama offers a memorable autumn day out in one of Devon's most picturesque locations.

Pecorama is situated on the hillside above the fishing village of Beer in Devon. From the centre of Beer, follow the signs for Pecorama. The attraction is well signposted from the main approach to the village.

The nearest mainline railway station is Axminster, which is approximately a 15-minute drive from Pecorama. Local bus services operate between Seaton, Sidmouth and surrounding areas, with services stopping in the village of Beer. From Beer village centre, Pecorama is a short uphill walk.
