The 'Rangers' is a fully interactive, three day workshop that will have kids thrilled with animal encounters and activities designed to engage, educate and entertain.
Open to children aged 6-12 and available during all the school holidays, Rangers provides parents with a fascinating, fun and educational alternative to childcare. Led by fully qualified teachers and teaching assistants the three-day workshops will keep the kids busy and entertained from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
– Three full days at the zoo for 6-12 year olds
– Get involved in feeding small mammals
– Learn all about our different animal species
– Enjoy lunch in the Jaguar Restaurant
– Get a certificate of your achievement

This course is non-refundable. If you are no longer able to attend, please email education@dartmoorzoo.co.uk to see if it can be moved to an alternative Rangers date. The only exception is if the zoo needs to close due to extreme weather, where guests would be notified within 24 hours, and rescheduling or refunding will be actioned.
This course is open to children 6-12 years of age.
Dartmoor Zoo accepts no liability for loss or damage of personal belongings whilst on site.
Zoo admission and lunch is provided, please ensure we are notified of any allergies or dietary requirements.
Consent forms must be completed ahead of the first day. We cannot take responsibility for your child without this information being provided. These will be sent out 2 weeks prior to the event.
Attendees are advised to wear appropriate outdoor footwear, as our site can often be muddy and uneven in places. Please also bring appropriate clothing for outside activities in all weathers.
If the minimum requirement of 8 spaces is not met, alternative dates will be provided.
If you require assistance in getting to the top of our drive, please notify a member of our gate team who can direct you to accessibility parking outside of our Jaguar Restaurant.
